Any idea what I should Major in?
I like working with people. I would enjoy helping people get jobs or find what job is right for them. I would also potentially like to work with the youth who fall through the cracks of life. I like the idea of teaching. I just want to work with people in some capacity. I will be going for a 4 year degree. I am taking Psychology courses but am not sure what options I would have after school, and without a Masters etc. Any suggestions or ideas? What should I do, will Psychology be right for me? Should I change majors. What can I do with a 2 or 4 year degree in Psychology? I have searched a LOT for answers but I'm just not sure. Thoughts? Opinions?

if your a psyc grad,.. you can work in the industry, like human resource manager, or any among the HR jobs like trainings, recruitment & selection and the likes. if you choose working in school, you could be a school counselor. you could also work in any Non-governmental Orgs. like acting as therapist in rehabs or any community...there are lots of options for you dear, then of course if you do have a postgrad units/diploma then it's an edge

If you enjoy working with grownups finding jobs, they have programs like that through the states - the people with degrees in Social Work usually get those jobs.
And that's a pretty neat job.
If you like kids - teaching - you'd need a teaching certificate. You'd have to decide what age of kids you like.

It sounds like you'd be interested in career counseling. You could work in an underpriviledged school if you'd liek to help kids "falling through the cracks of life". Good Luck!
