Warming is real. Does this mean that the Republicans have been LYING to us for the last 8 years? (Hint: the answer is yes.)

well, i don't think the global warming issue has been partisn issue. i believe in global warming being our fault John Mccain believes in global warming being our fault, some scientists and i can go on and on.
but... there are a lot of people who don't believe that global warming is our fault like Cheney, Hannity, and some scientists.
Basically i see that both sides have good points, we have had many points in our Earth's time of cooling and warming, and some say that this is no different and that it is natural.
The warming of the earth is caused by the greenhouse effect, where carbon dioxide, methane, and water vapor block the suns rays from getting out. and the releasing of these gases can be natural and human-made. natural methane gas comes from melted ice from deep in the ocean, and from cows. natural carbon-dioxide comes from inhalation and exhalation. while man-made carbon-dioxide comes from car exhausts, and factories.
Looking at how some scientists believe global warming being caused by humans, and how some scientists believe it's all natural and that the amount of CO2 and methane gas we make isn't big enough to cause global warming, i think that this whole issue can be debated
but we need to take action, whether we believe it or not so that we can get off of the limited recources we use today like oil which we are slowly doing..

No it reaffirms the fact that Bush isn't the brightest crayon in the box. Liberals should be relishing in the fact they were right about something IMO.
BTW, there's nothing democratic or republican about the concept of "Global Warming". Or is it "Climate Change" now? Just let those of us with a science education above the high school level discuss these issues. You just run along and buy that bumber sticker.. it'll be okay.
*Edit*
What amazes me the most is all of you thinking that:
A. You think only republicans don't buy the theory.
B. You think that because Bush now "believes" ( keep an eye on that word it's very prevelant in these types of discussions) in global warming that the rest of republicans are all going to follow his example. You do realize.. that unlike you people who believe everything your politicians say.. we ACTUALLY DO think for ourselves.

The earth is going through a cycle (man has nothing to do with it). On the first Earth Day in 1970, the environmentalist were telling everyone to get ready for the next ice age. It shows how little is proven.
So you and Al Gore can go shove carbon offsets up your butt.

He has caved in to pressure from the left. Man made global warming is more of a religion than a science. If you want to debate it I will gladly do so.

Global warming is now called "Climate Change". Its a scam either way, the Earth is always warming or cooling.

Yes, amazing was that admission. Without hesitation he said "Yes, it's real..."
What will the deniers do now. They have to revise their blame it on the sun rant.
