Why Women Like A$$ Holes? For a writing project, please...?

I think it's a control issue for some women. They think they can "tame the beast" so to speak so they view guys as 'projects' rather than as people. People only change if they WANT to change, so it's ridiculous to think that someone will change into a relationship.

I don't think I'm an @$$hole but maybe some of my exes would disagree.

Oh and FYI you are a hot photographer! Do you have a BF?

Well I think that women like a$$holes because you are always hearing about how women want bad a$$e$ and if you notice alot of the a$$holes are bad boys, or wannabe bad boys. I think a lot of womenn put up with stuff like that because they kinda feel insecure and if they have a guy that says "well I will beat up anybody that even looks at you" it gives them some kinda confidence about themselves. I don't understand it, but that is kinda how I feel. I think it makes us (women) feel good because we know that we have someone that is going to fight for us. And even though they are a$$holes in public or around other people they might not be like that at home. So a lot of wome I think put up with it because they (men) don't act like that all of the time. Now I think the ones that are always like that no matter where they are women don't like as much. I think that they want an a$$hole on the outside but really a kinda softie on the inside. She wants to know that her man can be as mean as he wants when needed and then he can also be the sweetest person that ever walked the face of this earth at other times.

Women do not like jerks.. they like confidence.

Most jerks have confidence.. therefore women are attracted to jerks..

Now if a nice guy has confidence he will get the girl over the jerk every time.. however nice guys are trained from birth to say please and thank you.. open the door for women, take her out to a nice restaurant, pay for it, ask her if she's had a lovely time, drop her off at home at 10 pm and hope for a kiss on the cheek or a hug, and then wonder why the next time they're out driving a guy zooms past him on a motorcycle, give him the finger and the girl is strapped on the back of it with her arms around him..

If on the other hand the nice guy uses the right language, body movements, isn't so predictable on the date, builds a sense of mystery and expects and gets (because she wants to) a deep passionate kiss.. Then next you're out with her the girl will be just as pissed as you at the rude motorcycle guy. See?

Of course there's more to it.. but guys MUST have confidence..

Well, to be honest it all boils down to psychology. For some reason women are drawn to men that do not nurture them emotinally, in a way I see it as being a from of self harm. Bad guys are seen as being sexy because they go against the proper way that a man is supposed to treat a woman. Also, it also depends on the woman's self esteem. It can be caused by parental divorce, the lack of a father figure, prehaps they were overwieght as a teenager. All this contributes to a lack or self woprth which can materialise in an emotionally abusive relationship. They dont think they deserve to be treated well or with love and respect.

I researched psychology for years to find this answer and what I have found is that it is actually an addiction in a women's subconscious mind , there are chemicals in the brain that produce the same effect as a drug addiction because they need the drama to produce the chemical and they can not be happy with a peaceful quiet loving relationship , that's why battered women always are attracted to another abuser and won't stay with a guy that treats them like a queen...This has been scientifically proven , I'm not makin this up...

I believe because most of the jerks are really attractive and some times women only look at the attractiveness of someone and not their personality! Some girls just don't appereciate some things that the 'nice' guys to for them.

i think because women think we can change them and we are special that jerk men will change for us. we probably feel superior because for some reason we are just so darn nurturing. perhaps, we want so bad to be loved because we did not get it from our own dad and that is why we sometimes we want to relive the moment and we just go out there to look for someone that has the character like our dad.

They never seem to start out as a^^ holes. They start out really sweet, doting on us and make us melt with their nice words and supposedly meaningful adoration. They're usually really confident and sexy as F_. But then once they have you, their true persona comes out. By then, we already are "sucked in" mentally and emotionally. We buy into their drama and lies because they manipulate their words and make us believe them.

They are like salesmen. They talk you into buying something but then once you do, they make it impossible to get a refund.

Some like jerks because they are one themselves. I personally wouldn't give a jerk the time of day, but many women like them so WE CAN CHANGE THEM!!! Everyone loves a challenge. ;)

Well people say I like jerks because I am one... I don't think of it that way, but I find it impossible to love some1 and I hate commitments, so I just like lots of short relationships and guys who are like me!

And my friend defines them as jerks who don't like getting serious...GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME!!!
