Confused

I live in New York State and I started collecting my Social Security at 63 of $1100.00 a month it is my only source of income , in 2017 in I received a 1099 from Social Security , I went to Jackson Hewitt Tax with it and I was told I did not have to file returns in August 2020 I received a letter from NYS tax saying I have a $200.00 credit from previous years I called the number on the letter and the girl told me to file a 2017 return and I will be refunded the $200.00 , I filed a return with the 1099s I was sent and today I received a bill from NYS for $1059.34 , my question is am I suppose to file and pay state income tax on my only income that is Social Security????

I have hot water baseboard heat in my house and need a new furnace / boiler or what ever it is called a friend wants to give me a 3 year old furnace they are taking out of a house they are tearing down the plumber told me it will not work because I have hot water baseboard heat and the house getting torn down has steam heat , is this true? What is the difference in the furnaces?

I recently met a very attractive woman that is single and I don't think she has any friends that I know of , she has done and said things that I can tell she lacks empathy , she did mention once to me that she was seeing a psychiatrist a few years ago but I didn't ask why but she said they did nothing to help her like it was a waste of her time...

Are there signs of things I should be looking for???

There is a person I know who say's he is a Born Again , he is very judgmental and has no problem telling people they are going to Hell when they die , I never read the Bible but I have read verses on being judgmental and also you will know them by their fruit , this guy is NOT producing good fruit and has no problem saying hurtful things to people with his judgmental remarks , I am 59 years old so his comments don't bother me , it bugged me when he started in on a sweet 20 year old cash register girl just minding her own business working in a store , there are other people I know that say they are Born Again that also seem judgmental with some of the things they say and do to their fellow man like they have some special pass from God to be judgmental , I think it is God's choice to say who is going to Heaven or Hell , are the mentally handicapped people all going to Hell because they are not Born Again or understand about God or the Bible?

I went to do some work on a girls house today , when she called me to tell me what time to come the electrician was there working she told me that when he came she had no make-up on and she was in her house coat , she told me not to come until after so she could be dressed and put make-up on , I asked why and she said I don't want you seeing me without make-up and I said the electrician did then she said I don't care what he thinks , when I got there she did look really good with the hair , make-up and clothes...

Why would she care what I think of her if she doesn't care what other guys think of her?

She is really nice looking I'm pretty sure even without the make-up I would still think she is attractive...

I had the battery and alternator tested at Auto Zone on their hand held computer it said they were both good....

Does anybody know the Law about buying County Tax Sale Foreclosed properties in New York State what if there is a bank that has a mortgage on the property? or other lien holders , if I buy one of these at the tax auction is the property free and clear of previous liens?

I went to H&R Block on 4 / 13/ 2012 to file for a extension on my Federal and State income taxes and to seek guidance on what I need to file my tax returns because this year I received a form 1099-K , the first person did my Federal extension and had no answers to my questions of what I need to file my taxes and I don't think her calculation of how much I should send a check for with the extension was correct because I had tax paid in from my job , then she had no clue how to do a State extension and she sent me to another guy that did the extension online which I didn't want because I had to mail them a check also with his calculation that was almost half of what the Federal was , they both gave me the bumbs rush and I even had to ask for a copy of the State extension...

Today there was a message on my answering machine from H&R Block telling me that the fee they charged me was being returned in a check to me , so I'm thinking to myself did they screw up and by refunding me my fee H&R block is off the hook for something?

I have a couple of friends that are die hard Born Again Christan's and they ridicule me because I'm not a Born Again nor have I ever read the Bible , I have caught them both in lies , they don't know each other , one is a very self centered person and the other is a very greedy jealous person , the way they are just doesn't seem the way a good person should be...
