who agrees that a degree in anything doesn't guarantee a specific amount of income at any level?

    you're right it doesn't even garuntee you a job...i've seen it a million times

    I disagree.

    Sure, a degree in business is worth about as much as the ink and paper cost, but Geological engineers are in such high demand right now that students are signing contracts in their senior year guaranteeing 50,000 dollar signing bonus' and 80,000 dollars a year right out of school. Depending on your accomplishments in school, and your motivation and effort in finding a job, I think you can find a spot. Income for most degrees is not guaranteed though.

    You're right. The problem is that all companies want to eventually become like Wal Mart. They have butloads of people working for them all making $8.00 an hour.
