This is awesome.... the principle is that because of our electromagnetic shield our planet screams. That would mean that all shielded planets also scream. Our oceans and atmosphere apparently hums.... which would mean that any planet with an ocean and atmosphere would also hum.

So basically it helps us find Earth like planets.... by listening for a scream and a hum. Perhaps it is just the natural way for one intelligent species to be able to find another in the haystack that is the universe..... just follow the screams. Now we just need to start looking, and bingo bango Earth 2. (we are getting a bit crowded here.... time to start looking for greener pastures).

I think it sounds lovely... then again I didn't have the volume up terribly loud. It wasn't soft either but it was at a modest level and it didn't annoy me. Hey, when I start hearing these sounds from other worlds then I tell you how I feel right now if ours is sending out these sounds and other world can't hear them without the proper instruments like us then they can't send them anyway for us to hear.

I also wonder how easily they die out, or how long they last, or if they dissapate after a while. Like normal sound waves and such.

This doesn't mean that all the sound is pointing in one direction- it just means that the soundwaves point in a straighter line from the earth's centre outwards, rather than being funnelled.

So my theory is that it is perfectly normal behaviour for sound on a planet with atmosphere and it is not aimed at anything.

It's not 'screaming of earth'----it's a continuous process. That's why we're the HUMAN BEING to explore & explore.....to bring out all the truth....to survive anyhow..... !

Outer spaces are simply 'outer spaces'....we want to include them with us as 'inner spaces' for our coming generation.

it's simply the earth's way of getting back at the rest of the universe for screaming at it the last 13 billion years

she is probably crying out for help. imagine if you kept people in your body as a home and they dig you up and suck oil out of you, and cut up your trees and pour junk into the ocean...on and on, and never even thank you. that is what is happening with mother earth...we are abusing her...sometimes not even knowing it and she is screaming out in pain....I love you Earth...thank you for letting me inhabet you...I love you my Planet!
