Question about graphic novels and/or comics?

There are many kinds of graphic novels (eastern and western, original and collected edition, etc), so I recommend visiting some graphic novel related websites:

The Sandman series by Neil Gaiman and various artists is probably my all time favorite graphic novel series. And coincidentally, the first I really got into when I was still a noob. It's easy to find and well worth the money. Lots of mythology, great characters, vast worlds... awesome stuff. Check my source for more info on it. :)

You could either try graphic novels or trade paperbacks (thats the new thing). I suggest the Watchman, The Killing Joke(Alan Moore), Camelot 3000 (trade), The Dark Knight returns(trade), Miracleman(trade), Future Imperfect(trade), Crisis on Infinite Earths(trade), The League of Extraordinary Gentleman(trade), Top 10(trade) that should get you started but if you go broke dont blame me(LOL)
