How often should I feed a malnourished 2 week old kitten?

We have some cats that live outside our home, and one of the females had babies. Problem is, she has no more milk and has stopped feeding the babies. Only one is left (They were scattered in different places on the property) alive, and he is very malnourished.

I have some powdered kitten milk left over from earlier this year, when I had to feed some other kittens (because they were sick).

I have a heating pad under a towel on medium, and the kitten is in the towel. I am doing this because the kitten is very cold and hanging onto life by a thread. But how much should I feed it and how often should I feed it?? The kitten was fine a few days ago, but is now skin and bones.

And yes, we are working to get all these outdoor cats spayed and neutured.

Update:

I am taking the kitten to the vet tomorrow, but I really wanted to know for tonight.

I hope you can save the poor baby. I would offer him food every couple of hours until he gets back on his feet, then every 4-6 hours is fine. At 2 weeks old you need to stimulate him to go to the bathroom as well. You should do that every time you feed him. If he is very weak and fading you can give him a tiny bit of white caro syrup to raise his sugar levels, this will sometimes give them a boost. You should feed him as much as he is willing to eat but it should be at least 5-6cc every couple hours. It may be a long shot to save him if he is already fading but do your best. Unfortunately I have done over 100 of these babies and you have to learn that you can't save them all. Once they start to fade it is hard to get them back. Keep him warm and fed and if you are unsure of what you are doing try to call a local vet to see if one of the employees are willing to take him on (that's how I get all of mine)

what are you feeding it from? a bottle? if so he is sucking on his own? because if that is the case feed him every two hours and let him eat until hes done. if you have to force feed it with an eye dropper or syringe, feed it a few (three) dropper or syringe fulls every two hours. i have three two week old kittens im fostering right now and one is having some trouble w/ the bottle so i have to syringe feed him every once in a while. good luck and hopefully the poor baby makes it. oh and make sure you are pottying it (rubbing its area w/ a warm damp cloth to get it to go potty) after it eats.

I doubt you want to go wrong anywhere with this one. So I would recommend going to the vet or a shelter and asking that very question to a professional
