Do split-brain patients have 2 souls? Heaven or Hell?

In experiments with split brain patients the phenomenon where one side of the brain says it believes in god and the other side says it does not has been observed. Do both go to hell or do both go to heaven? If one side goes to hell and the other to heaven does that mean the person has 2 souls(or their soul splits in half)?

Update:

As a measure to reduce severe epilepsy, people go through a brain operation that cuts the corpus callosum. The corpus callosum basically the main highway for information normally shared between the left & right hemispheres. People who have had this procedure done are commonly called split-brain patients.

A split-brain patient being studied at Cal-Tech was asked to respond to questions using his left hand (to express his right hemisphere) and his his right hand (to express his left hemisphere). One of the questions asked was "Do you believe in God?" His right hand pointed to yes. When asked for a response from his left hand, his hand pointed to no.

Update 2:

Jon M, is it not the brain that facilitates the soul? Do you really think a body can contain a "soul" without a brain? Wouldn't that mean that if someone lost their head, their soul would still stay in their body?

err...split brain is the wrong reference...but i know what you're talking about. that would be an interesting thing for christians to answer though.

::edit:: yea, you're right, but there's actually even a better example for your argument. some condition where it actually is two minds in the same body...i can't think of the name though.

Maybe these aren't even real people. Maybe they are demons, sent here to do the work of Satan. I don't know. I never even heard of this before. All I can be sure of is that God sees the soul of man, and knows where that person's heart truly is--with Him or against Him. I don't believe a person can have two souls.

What experiments are you talking about? Split brain patients don't become two separate people......

Your statement begs the question of whether psychology and spirituality are the same facility.

There is some interplay, but the 2 are essentially different.
