Best of the 2-way players.......?

While this is mainly the Defensemans biggest selling point sometimes, there are plenty of good forwards in the league that have a good defensive skill set..

Question--- Who are the best 2-way players for both offensive and defensive sides??

Sidenote-- There is 1 inch of snow in Nashville and Milk and bread are worth their weight in gold.. Winter time Freakin Rocks and Redneck truckdrivers need to try the Ice Road next year!!!! Feed 'em to Big Hugh and Alex..

BTW--- My picks are Phaneuf and Patrick Sharp

Update:

Schloppy Tuney-- good grief!!! FROST that deep.. Betcha those dogs really get stuck to the porch like on the movie Joe Dirt.. LMAO... (I know-- were weak)

Update 2:

Perry-- I can believe that--- You guys dont stop golfing until you have 6 inches on the greens up there-- LOL...

Update 3:

Perry-- Thats HUGE for us-- While Michiganders are still golfing in 6" of snow, Tennesseeans are going mad from being confined to their homes and having to play board games..

You first 3 are the biggest Homers I have ever seen.. LOL-- Good picks nonetheless..

Update 4:

By that time the balls are BLUE, Tuna.. But a nice warm Hole--- Nevermind..LOL-- told ya-- Weak...

Update 5:

LMFAO @ Kate-- [ its whats inside these bars thats got me LMAO].. Holy crap what a list!!!

**Whenever people say there's a lack of 2-way players in the league, I pull out my list and prove 'em wrong!

Source(s): There's a couple of inches of snow in good old Western PA. I took my dog out to pee about an hour ago and only put on slippers............bad idea; I thought my feet were going to freeze!

Look what you people did, you went and made Bob all pissy and disgusted, probably because there are too many Red Wings players listed...This is were I would normally write something immature and mean, but since Bob was born and raised in Canada, and somehow wasn't sucked into the Toronto or Montreal fanbases, I have to respect him for that.

I will go about this with out mentioning any Red Wings, and listing the two players I think fit this mold the best...

    Jordan Staal, and Scott Neidermayer.

Oh, and an inch of snow is disappointing, if it's gonna snow, I want it to actually SNOW. Just a little fact, The Upper Peninsula of Michigan gets more snow on average than anywhere else in the lower 48.

Gotta agree with Perry and say Lidstrom and Datsyuk (even if it makes me look like a homer). I dont think anyone will put up much of an argument against Lidstrom. There might be better defensive forwards than Datsyuk, but none of them have the offensive that Pavel has IMO.

BTW, 1 inch of snow is worse for driving in places like Nashville than 6 inches in Michigan is. Michigan road crews are prepared for that stuff, those southern-ish states arent. I lived in st. louis for a while and the roads were so bad to drive on with hardly any snow on them.

  • Nice to see you around Copas.

Lidstrom and Datsyuk. (Trying not to be homer!)

Also, were getting snow by the feet in Michigan..

**LOL, 6 inches? Is that all you got? That's nothing here!

Copas- LMAO, i was in florida one time, and they got a tiny bit of frost and everyone from there was going mad, no joke. I was dying of laughter. You should come to Michigan and see this, kids are still playing basketball in the snow!

Kate- Thanks for the lengthy list, haha. You forgot Phaneuf, Sharp, and all of the rest of the Wings.

    Hi

Wait till you see an inch of frost. Homer time, Lidstrom and Draper.

    That felt good

Kiss up answer, Weber and Arnott

    Thank You

Source(s): ps Huh why do you stop golfing for 6 inchs of snow, you just got a new course to play on, dig out the holes and bring out the orange balls. Copas never golf with blue balls, you might end up getting jealous of your clubs when they managed to find the way into 18 holes.

Ryan Kesler is missing from your list. His numbers don't show all of his offensive production, though. He is one of the hardest players to play against in the league. He is also very talented in the offensive zone and has great speed. Ryan Kesler and Alex Burrows are one of the best shut down duos in the league, and are very underated.

Nick Lidstrom and Dion Phaneuf were the first guys that came to mind.
