What "everyday" thing seems to amaze your cat?

My kitties love clean ear swabs. They run around the house and bat them around with their paws. Then they carry them in thier mouths and play with them all day. They also like soda bottle caps. If the news is on the tv they will sit and watch the fake rain/snow fall on the doppler radar! Its so cute!

I moved to a new house recently and everything amazes her. Lately she has been really into sitting in the bathtub. Last night I left my bedroom closet door open, which has a bunch of shelves. Everytime I looked up from my book, I would find her sitting on a different shelf. It was funny. Sometimes I find her staring at me for a prolonged time (if I am reading or watching tv) and can't help but think, wow she finds me fascinating. Ha ha.

Running water. I have one that will streak from anywhere in the house when he hears a faucet. He'll also try to bat the water as the washing machine fills. Oddly, he enjoys the pet fountain but doesn't show any interest in playing with the water like he does from a faucet.

Sunlit corners - my cat will sit and stare at a corner watching the light and shadows - his head goes left to right like he's reading something.

My cat loves playing with toilet paper. I can't even keep it in the bathroom. I have to hide it from her! And she LOVES the fridge. Whenever I go to the fridge to grab something she hops inside. She also loves to play in the bathtub and with water. She also has a weird fascination with straws. Whenever she sees a drink with a straw she plays with it until she yanks it outta the cup. I'm usually forced to hand over the straw and drink from the cup.

We had a cat years ago that was facinated by the swirling water after you flush the toilet and would come running just so she could watch it

when my cat is in the room adn she sees you open the blind she runs up and jumps on the window sill and stares outside LOL.

i think it's because we don't let her out. but it's because of the bad alley cats in the yard and someone would definitly steal the beautiful cat :( LOL.

Cat Nip.. it makes my cat lick the carpet. Probably not a good thing though.
