Do I need my mother in order to go to college?
My mother does not approve of the college or state that i want to go to, so im planning on just going on my own. But she said i need her in order to go to college and that i couldnt go without her. I just wanted to know if it was possible for me to do it on my own. I know i probably need her for financial aid, but i'll get loans and scholarships....please help me!!!!
I am 17 years old and i turn 18 in october, i really need some good info, because i really want to go to college. she told me i need her in order to get into a college...every step i need her and i thought it was only for financial aid

Yeah i think you need her for fianancial aid only but what you can do is to go over to the college and talk to the receptionist and tell her that you are having unusual situation and you very much want to study and blah blah blah and hope that they would proceed without the signature of your mom!

No, as long as you can pay you don't need her. You're an adult (unless you graduated high school early) and you can sign your own paperwork.
If you wanna go there and you can pay for it, you're set.
