The water pressure in one of my faucets is really bad. Help?
No matter which way I turn the valves under the sink that connect to the faucet. it doesn't seem to help. Could it be that the valves are broken? Or is the faucet? Or something worse?
I have one of those faucets that has a cord inside so you can pull it out. You can even change if it comes out in a stream or like a shower.
So its not the standard head of a faucet. I guess I'll have to figure how to clean that?
Hopefully it has an aer... whatever in it to clean!

It could be that your aerator is clogged. (That's the screen thing right where the water comes out for those that don't know). Take one of those rubber jar lid openers from the kitchen and use it to unscrew the thing on the very end of the faucet where the water comes out. (Close the drain first so the little parts don't fall down it.) Thoroughly clean the little plastic parts inside it. You'll likely find little rocks and stuff. Screw it all back on and try it.

Could be the valves, but try to take the aerator off (the screen at the end) and see if that changes the pressure. If it does, the just soak it in some vinegar and screw it back on.

theres a washer in the shut off valve they break apart and go threw suppy lines and faucet 1 at a time take it apart to find where its clogged and replace shut off valves might be in the faucet itself

Turn vales under sink counter clock wise to open. If pressure is low check the faucet strainer, it may be clogged.

start by taking the airator off. it screws of the spout of the faucet. you might need a pair of pliers to get it off. use a rag to prevent scratching. once it is off try the faucet if the pressure returns then just clean out the airator and screw it back it.
