I want a counter top machine with 6 - 8 containers. I have tried the internet but since I don't purchase on the net I need a location to buy.

Try the Bay, Walmart, or health food stores, last week when I Honest Ed's at Bathurst and Bloor they had one, I got mine years ago.
Just call around, I am sure in Mississauga, Brampton or even Etobicoke there has got to be one place, mine is Salton brand and has 6 glass cups, a warming base and thermometer, I use the plain unflavoured non gelatin yougart method with 50/50 whole milk and skimmed with a bit of milk powder, I used to buy acidopholis culture but found it to sour and unpredictable.
