What do you think of these rings? (maybe a bit of fun)?
I have two lovely engagement rings (one is more traditional and the other is the original but is more like a wedding ring. I was planning on using this for my wedding ring as with the wedding and all that we cant afford rings right now (he has one too already that i bought him as an E-ring) and he would have used that.
He thinks we should have new rings for the wedding and although we did look at some more expensive than this, we both kind of love it because its funky and fun.
Are we nuts or do you think they are ok?

I have no problem with the look, but the plating will wear off with time and silver is not a good metal for an everyday till death do us part kinda ring- it will wear-away much faster than gold. If you buy these, keep in mind that you may have to replace them down the road due to wearing, stone falling out, etc.
I am fiarly sentimental myself and hate the idea of replacing my ring and would rather have a plain gold (or white gold if you prefer) band I could wear forever if money is an issue, and get blingyier jeweller down the road as we get more money (anniversiary rings, etc). But that's just me. A lot of people get 'starter' rings now and plan to replace them down the road- and there's nothing wrong with that. But quality-wise- those won't last a 40 year marriage

OMG , I think the rings are really beautiful, and no I don't think you guys are crazy at all. hey its your special day and you guys should do what you want to make it more memorable and stuff, no matter what people say;. Not getting new rings could save you guys money and you can use it for something else, or you can just go ahead and get new rings. I wish both the very best with your wedding and all of the great things that the future holds for you both.

They look cheap and tacky and if you plan on wearing your wedding band for the rest of your life, this one wont last that long believe me.
It looks like you are trying to fool people into believing you have got expensive rings, when all they will do is come across as fake.
If you cant afford the real thing for both of you then at least invest in a real gold wedding band for you so that it lasts for the rest of your life.
Wedding bands are supposed to mean commitment and forever, this cheap set is designed for a couple that will divorce before the ring wears out.

the rings in the picture from your link are beautiful, and i agree with you why waste money at this point in time when you have lovely rings that can do the job for now or permanently, so many people think when they get married they have to put on a show for others but you don't need to do this, it is your commitment to each other that matters not material things. maybe when you can afford it if you still want to you can buy new rings and have them blessed privately or have a renewal of vows ceremony. good luck

The rings are beautiful. Go for it. You are the one that's going to be wearing them. They are more beautiful then some real expensive ones that I have seem! If its true love from your hearts then price has no meaning!! I think you should get them!
Good luck!!

I guess if it's what you want, it's ok. They're fake stones and they look fake to me. I don't like the style at all. I loathe silver for jewelry, I prefer the more unique yellow gold (I say unique because the silver color, regardless of what the metal is is overly trendy and I like to buck the trends and be more unique). I feel like silver is too difficult to take care of. You constantly have to polish it or it will tarnish and turn your finger green! It happened to me as a teenager! It's not fun.
In the end, the decision is yours. If you like them, get them.

They look nice and if both you and your future husband like them and can afford them, the go for it.
the fact that they are not real doesnt matter as long as you know they arent. I personally wouldnt go for them, I can do fake diamonds but I have to do real gold of some sort.

Sorry, it looks like something out of a bubble gum machine.
How about if you get high polished white gold bands or high polished Palladium bands?
Much less $$$.
Good luck to you.

Well, there's the problem with sterling silver and tarnishing.
Also, there's no way my husband would wear a ring that 'blingy'.
