SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE (PINEAPPLE)
2 tbsp. cornstarch
4-5 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. brown vinegar
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 (20 oz.) can crushed (drained) pineapple
Add all ingredients together. Cook until thickened. Serve with noodles or rice.

DUCK SAUCE FOR CHINESE FOOD
1 Servings
Measure Ingredient
½ cup Apricot preserves
6 tablespoons Water
2 teaspoons Low-sodium soy sauce
1½ tablespoon Apple cider vinegar
1 dash Garlic powder
1 Apple, chopped
¾ cup Chopped light peaches, pears
Or pineapple
1 fruit.
Cook apricot preserves, water, soy sauce, vinegar and garlic powder until preserves melt. Add apple and cook 5 minutes. Add chopped fruit; mash and refrigerate. Serves 8.
