    1. I have 1 dog.

    2. Great Dane

    3. Any small breed (with the exception of a JRT and Westie) for my own reasons

    4. She gets Harringtons biscuits with NatureDiet meat

    5. Not yet, no.

    6. To be honest i don't care if the dog is spayed or neutered as long as the owner is taking full responsibility in ensuring that their male is kept away from a female and their female doesn't get pregnant. If they won't/can't then yes their dogs should be fixed.

    7. I take her through the park and very rarely left her off the lead there but i do take her along the countryside a lot. I am trying to get into some agility with her though.

    8. Not very often. She doesn't need bathed often a good grooming will do.

    9. Either, i got Tess from a breeder but my old dog was from a shelter.

    10. Breeder.

  • Oh, I love these little quiz/poll things. :)

    1) How many dogs do you have?

    One.

    2) What breed of dog do you really want, but have never owned?

Greyhound, by far. Such awesome dogs! :)

    3) What breed of dog would you never own?

    Chihuahua. Never in my life.

    4) What do you feed your dogs?

    Innova.

    5) Are your dogs spayed/neutered?

    Yupp.

    6) Do you think all dogs (or most dogs) should be spayed or neutered?

I think mutts and dogs that aren't in breeding condition should definitely be fixed. There is a need for responsible breeders, and if all dogs were fixed, then where would we be getting our purebreds?

    7) What activities do you do with your dog? (anything from lure coursing, obedience, agility, hunting, to things like taking them to park, fetch, bicycling, hiking)

Fetch, hiking, obedience classes, a 30 min walk twice a day, practicing his obedience, just chilling out. :)

    8) How often do you bathe your dogs?

    Once a month.

    9) Do you prefer dogs from breeders or from the shelter?

I'm a shelter/rescue kind of girl, but if I wanted a purebred dog whose back round I know, I wouldn't hesitate to adopt from a breeder.

    10) Did you get your dogs from a breeder or a shelter?

    Yes. :)

    1) How many dogs do you have? Just one.

    2) What breed of dog do you really want, but have never owned? Tons... Lab, Golden, Papillon, Greyhound, Corgi, Westie, German Shepherd.

    3) What breed of dog would you never own? A Spaniel (too snappy IMO), Shar Peis and Chows (too dominant).

    4) What do you feed your dogs? Chappie and occasionally Butchers, supplemented with fresh/tinned meat/fish.

    5) Are your dogs spayed/neutered? Yes he is.

    6) Do you think all dogs (or most dogs) should be spayed or neutered? Certainly most dogs, but not all.

    7) What activities do you do with your dog? (anything from lure coursing, obedience, agility, hunting, to things like taking them to park, fetch, bicycling, hiking). Tug-of-war!

    8) How often do you bathe your dogs? 3-4 times a year.

    9) Do you prefer dogs from breeders or from the shelter? While I just want a pet, a shelter dog can give me everything I need. If I ever decided to show/breed, obviously one from a breeder, but that's not something I plan to do any time soon.

    10) Did you get your dogs from a breeder or a shelter? A shelter.

I imagine the TD fairy will be doing the rounds as per usual.

Yes, if you aren't showing or working your dog to get their CH titles, then you should have them done.

    7) What activities do you do with your dog? (anything from lure coursing, obedience, agility, hunting, to things like taking them to park, fetch, bicycling, hiking)

I do obedience, just starting on agility, walks, jogs, take them to the beach and dams, play fetch and wrestle around.

    8) How often do you bathe your dogs?

Hardly ever, about 3-4 times a year

    9) Do you prefer dogs from breeders or from the shelter?

Well I've gotten my dogs from both, so I don't really prefer one over the other.

Domino from a breeder and Dice from the RSPCA.

    1- 3, two GSDs and a Lab

    2- Great Dane

    3- chihuahua

    4- Holistic blend

5- two are, one is not

6- most dogs should be spayed. Working or show dogs are one exception. I believe their are truly responsible people who can have intact dogs and not have any accidental litters, but unfortunately there are many many more who *think* they are responsible enough and aren't.

7- my oldest GSD and my Lab are my running partners. We also frequent the beach (the GSD loves the water more than the Lab), play frisbee and hiking.

The youngest GSD is a Police dog (I am not the handler). So he does tracking, apprhension, obedience, etc, and will soon be crosstrained in drugs detection. (if you haven't figured it out, he is the intact one)

8- Not often. When they need it.

9-Depends on what I want the dogs for. If I want a specific breed I will go to a breeder. I will always have a GSD. I will go to a breeder for that. I will always have more than one dog, so for other pets I would go to the shelter

10- Technically for the GSDs neither. The oldest was a Police dog washout that could not be returned, so my boyfriend sort of rescued him. The youngest GSD was purchased by work through a broker.

My Lab was from a breeder.

1.) At the moment I have three dogs, two German Shepherds and a Yorkshire Terrier.

    2.)Puli.

    3.)Mastiff(because of the drool)

4.)Purina, yes I know it is not the greatest, but the dogs seem to like it.

    5.)Two are one is not.

6.)If there is no good reason for them not to be, then yes they should be neutered or spayed.

    7.)Walking/hiking, swimming, agility, obedience, fetch

8.)Once a month they get a good scrubbing, if we were walking by the lake however they get rinsed off with the hose after wards, no matter what because the mud is so thick and so is the algae.

9.) No preference as long as it is what I am looking for(that would be healthy in case you are wondering)

10.)Recently I have gotten all my dogs from breeders, tried to adopt lost out to a family WITH children(direct quote from the shelter worker "they have kids who will be able to spend more time with the puppy" I do not think the shelter worker has any kids or they would know better then that)

I'm bored, so I'll go for it.

    1) I currently have 4 dogs. 3 danes and a jack russel.

    2) I'd love to own a neapolitan mastiff someday.

    3) I can't stand chihuahuas...

    4) My dogs get a BARF diet.

    5) 3 of my dogs are spayed. One isn't because I show him.

    6) Any that do not present the best of the best of its breed should be fixed.

    7) Conformation, walks, and rolling a tire down a hill so they can chase it...

    8) The non show dogs get bathed at least every other week. The show dog gets a bath weekly.

    9) Breeders are good if you want specific things from your dog. Shelters are good for anyone else. My favorite dogs have all been rescues.

    10) Two of my danes were from a breeder. One was from a shelter and one was from a rescue group.
