how do you defrost a deep freeze?

    you must be sure that it's completely empty before doing that, then pull the plug and remove the cover or plug on the bottom to allow the water from draining , keep the door open this will take 2 days to do , I once climb inside the freezer my friend had moved and need help cleaning so in order to to clean it , I had to lower myself in it because it was too deep but I wouldn't recommend this to you I got a really bad cold for doing that , it seemed stupid but it had to be done since it was really dirty . Use a sponge mop to wipe down the sides and bottom , and make sure that there is a drain where you are going to let the water out., after that close the lid and let the freezer run 1 day without anything in it , than fill with food.

    Empty it. Then unplug it. Leave it open so that it airs. Then wash it out once it is defrosted.

    Take everything out, unplug it, clean it, plug it back in, and wait until it's the right temp again before you put stuff back in.

    remove all the items and unplug it lol...wipe out and plug back in.....LOL
