When your using Nature's Miracle just for cats does the smell get worse before it gets better?
My cats have had an accident and I was told to use this product. I have read the directions very carefully so understand that it can take up to two weeks for the smell of urine to vanish. I smell the pee more now then I did before is that suppose to happen should apply more? It is on a carpet and I should let you know that I bought the gallon I saturated the carpet and lifted it to get the under padding and wood underneath.
Should I apply more?

That's odd. I use Nature's Miracle and never had that happen when cleaning throw up or urine on carpet.
Sounds like it got thru to the padding and maybe into the wood if it still smells.

Natures Miracle has a distinct odor and sometimes its hard to tell if the pee smell if still there, or if it is the Natures Miracle. I probably have spent thousands of dollars on their product because it is the only one that works. I agree with putting a towel down after a while and putting something heavy on it to help pull up some of the liquid. I used so much on a particular area in my house that it was too moist and never dried and started to get musty and probably moldy underneath the carpet. The color of the wood flooring underneath started to seep up and stain my carpet. I ended up having to take out the carpet there. They say it won't take the smell away until it has completely dried. So be patient.

In my experience, YES. Also, have you placed a towel over the spot and put a heavy weight on that?
It is a very good product.
