What should my tire pressure be?
I have a 2006 Kia Sedona. The tires are 235/60R17. I just had new tires put on the tires show a max pressure of 44 psi. The shop filled them to 35 psi. Should I leave them at 35 or take them up to max rated pressure cold?

All these answers are good! I think you should look on the inside of the door.

If the tread runs flat at 35, and you are not consistently loading the car to the maximum (or close to it) that it will carry then I suggest leave it at 35. Adding more pressure will allow you to support more weight on the vehicle, but generally it is not required that you go that high.
However the best thing is to always check what the manufacturer recommends which is on the label in the drivers door.

the tires max pressure is 44, but kia recommends 35 or right around there for smoother driving and to maximize the surface area of the tire on contact wit the ground to improve your driving comfort and braking ability. leave it at the 35.

Look in your owners manuel or look on the door sticker it has all the info you need for smooth ride recommend by the dealer. The 44 psi rating is max load max psi.

It's still 30 psi. The pressure on the tire is max pressure, including the pressure you will get from heat, which raises the tires air pressure.

The recommended tire pressure should show on a plate on the doorjamb of the car or in the glove compartment. It will also be mensioned in the owner's manual. Do not use the maximum presure. That just tells you what not to go beyond unless you want to pop the tire. Exploding a tire can hurt you very badly.

35 psi. Make sure that you check the tire pressure when the tires are cold.

There is a label that answers that question already on your car. Look on the door jambs (usually driver's door). It will give the psi for front and rear tires (manufacturer's recommendations for normal load in car).

on the inside of your drivers side door, probably on the side of the door itself, there's a sticker that tells you what psi your tires should be inflated to based on the weight of your car. You can go a bit higher or lower depending on the circumstances but you want to try to keep it close to what they recommend as you can.

if they are the same size as the stock tires than you can use the sticker on the driver side door that will tell you the tire pressure for both front and back tires
