There is little information available to the public at this time concerning the game. So far, all we have is one official artwork, as seen here:

We likely wont' hear much more until E3 in 2010.

However, Shigeru Miyamoto and Eiji Aonuma have hinted at some things:

Shigeru Miyamoto stated that Twilight Princess will be "without a doubt, the last Zelda game as you know it in its present form.". He thinks that Zelda has gone as far as it can go with the present formula: Enter a temple, fight the mini-boss for an item, defeat the boss with the item, and so on.

So expect this game to be different. In fact, Link might not even have a sword for part of the game. Notice how Link is not holding a sword in the artwork. Some rumors have surfaced that the blue creature standing behind Link is some sort of embodiment of the Master Sword.

Shigeru also hints that the new Zelda game will probably require the Wii MotionPlus, as to take proper advantage of the Wii's unique interface. Whether or not this will come to be depends on whether Miyamoto is satisfied with Wii Sports Resort sales.

nicely, there is no longer very corresponding to Zelda different than, nicely...greater Zelda! See, there is the unique Legend of Zelda (NES), the journey of link (NES), A link to the previous (SNES), Ocarina of Time (N64), and Majora's mask (N64), all attainable on the digital Console area of the Wii save Channel. For DS, there is completely one: Phantom Hourglass. it fairly is a huge yet short pastime. The music is atrocious for a Zelda call, and the snap shots are cartoonish, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it fairly is a high quality pastime inspite of the actuality that and that is very well worth the money. sooner or later, there will be yet another Zelda pastime for Wii. additionally, there will be the Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks for DS, which will pastime the comparable seen sort and gameplay of Phantom Hourglass. it is going to launch earlier the top of 2009. i desire this facilitates!
