What pill can I take to keep me in a calm mood. I have a problem with my spouse who doesn't stop bitching.?

Sure, I know the best medicine/solution is therapy, so please don't answer with that. I'd like only answers that actually answer the question: What pills can keep a person in a calm mood?

My spouse will criticize and complain. I would ask them to stop, especially after they've repeated their criticism over five times. Their behavior turns into harassment and drives me nuts to sit there and listen to it. If I leave the room, I am followed. If I go under the blankets, the blankets get yanked off me. If i cover my head with my arm, pillows and yoga balls get thrown at me. If we're driving down the highway, I can't get out of the car, I'm stuck. If we're in the house, and I resort to leaving the house, I'm threated with having my posessions damaged and thrown out and other threats. So, with the case of the car(abandoned or unstoppable on the highway), or leaving the house and being threatened, I need to have some ability to stay and put up with this hell. I really don't have the power to shrug it off and not let my lid explode yet.

I just want to know what kind of chill pills there are which would keep me in a mood which would stop me from going ballistic and doing something I regret. It's so painful to go through.

Your wife is a b*tch. And you're being abused, as difficult as that may be to admit. Pills are not going to do anything for you. If I were you, I'd start planning an exit strategy. Good luck.

No pill you take will make someone stop criticizing you, or give you the ability to "deal with it". If the complaints are legit then come up with a solution if not get a divorce before it escalates into something much worse.

Why is this question worded in a deliberately gender-neutral way? This is a woman we're talking about isn't it?

You're in an abusive relationship. Pills won't help.

Get ready for a torrent of hell from those who refuse to believe that women are abusive to each other.

I don't think that there is any kind of pill that would work. If it were me having to go through all that I would be seeing an attorney and filing for a divorce.

Hmmm, there is Xanax. You'll float right over all the abuse, but you might not live through it!

A divorce pill would be much easier to swallow in the long run.
