From the sound of it, your cat got spayed long ago. Once a cat is spayed, there is no way to reverse the procedure. I understand the wish for kittens from your beloved cat. I feel sort of the same way. I love my two cats, and think they would have made such beautiful kittens. However, I made the right decision to have them fixed, years ago. Not only does it help them live longer, happier lives, but also I was doing my part to prevent cat overpopulation. It was the wisest choice, but I do still kind of wish they could have kittens. I fill this wish by looking at pictures of kittens that look like them. And I know that the older cat helped me raise the younger one. Because realistically, I don't have the resources to have more cats in my home right now, I content myself with knowing that when the older one leaves this life, in due time, I will welcome another cat into our home, and the cat he helped raise, will teach the new kitty what she was taught. Since you have the resources to care for more cats, perhaps you would like to rescue one or two kittens, and perhaps your beloved elder cat will help teach them what they need to know to be happy, healthy cats, and in this way, her legacy will live on after her death.

She's is too old and if she was unlucky enough to fall pregnant then the pregnancy could kill her and any kittens.

If you want to remember her then get an artist to paint a picture of her, have a video made of her, take nice photo's or in a few years time when she has passed on find another kitten that resembles her, (bear in mind a cat that resembles her in appearance may not do so in character).

Enjoy your time with her and treat her like the beloved pet she is and should be Rather than put her life at risk for your own gains.

You've got the $125 for spaying each of the female kittens and $100 for neutering each male kitten? You can do checkups on all of them, with the base $35 exam fee and each vaccination shot charged separately? Come on. Your cat is getting too old to safely go through pregnancy.

Your cat is the equivalent of a 90 year old woman. There is no way she could safely have a litter. If you want another cat, adopt from a shelter. What you want to do is absolutely moronic and if you have any sense at all you won't even try it.

Sorry but she is much too old, besides, if she has not produced kittens in that long I would imagine she is spayed - perhaps your parents got it done and told you it was something else?

You'll kill her and probably end up with deformed kittens.

How about you save a kitten from a shelter in memory of her.

A lot of people sponsor cages at shelters in memory of their cat.

    Thats a lot less selfish.

Is this the same cat that has has her "girly parts removed". If you're going to make stuff up you need to keep you Q & A's private.

No and at her age she would die trying to carry and deliver kittens. She should have been spayed years ago.

Added - if she is spayed she can NEVER have any kittens - all reproductive organs were removed.
