When to rehome a kitten?

Am I the only person who thinks that 6 weeks old is far to early to rehome a kitten!

Please spread the word and stop people buying from bad "factory" breeders.

I don't see a question, but 99% of people agree with you and are aware that it's wrong.

'Spreading the word' on here by making questions will only get you reported; I suggest you inform your friends and family if they show interest in getting a kitten, and if anyone asks a question about what age to take a kitten home/sell a kitten, then you should inform them.

I'd go with 8 weeks, however if the kitten has no mother and you are rehoming it you could actually be able to take better care of it than over worked staff at a shelter. So I'd say I agree with you normally, but in certain circumstances I don't see why an experienced cat owner shouldn't adopt earlier if necessary.

Eight to 12 weeks of age to rehome.
