Losing weight for formal?
I have my formal in November and a lot of the dresses I like only come in smaller sizes. I do gymnastics 10 hours a week but haven't lost any weight. I really need to be around a size 8 what is the easiest way to lose weight.

To calculate your Body Mass Index first determine your height in metres and your weight in kg. Square your height. Then divide your weight by the square of your height. Anything below 25 is healthy.
Waist-hip ratio
Use the ratio of your waist circumference (the narrowest point on your abdomen) to your hip circumference (the widest point) as another good indicator.
A ratio of more than 1.0 for a man (in other words your waist is bigger than your hips) or 0.8 for a woman means you urgently need to reduce your weight and increase your levels of exercise.
My advice is to stop thinking about "going on a diet" and develop a healthy outlook to food and eating habits in general. Any amount of exercise/activity is good. Try to aim for 30 mins three times a week. This could be walking, jogging, washing cars, gardening, house-work, anything!
Some simple guidelines:
Cut out saturated fats and replace with healthy fats from avocado, olive oil, nuts and seeds.
Drink plenty of water in place of sugary fizzy drinks.
Add ice and squeeze fresh lemon in the water for both taste but more importantly to help burn carbohydrates. Lemons are great for this. Add lemon to fish and salads to benefit even more.
Boil a kettle and squeeze fresh lemon. Delicious.
Drink peppermint tea instead of coffee.
Eat lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. The darker the vegetable the more antioxidant properties it contains.
Eat low-sugar cereal such as weetabix, shredded wheat, low-sugar muesli, porridge and ready-brek. Add chopped banana or berries for added fibre.
Eat lean protein such as chicken, turkey and ham. Get more protein from tuna, eggs and beans.
Eat complex carbs such as wholewheat pasta, wholemeal bread, sweet potatoes.
Dark chocolate is healthier than milk or white.
Good luck!

You didn't mention what size you are now.
Anyways, mix it up...go running, take a Zumba class, do light weight training...just change up the routine. Also, try eating healthier. Now I'm not saying go on a diet or completely stop eating your favorite foods. Just make healthy choices 80% of the time.
Good luck!

Of course, the 70s diet still supports sway. Low calorie, high fibre celery will get rid of you snacking, and contains high levels of calcium which help to remove the fat content in different foods. Tip: Eat braised celery with roast chicken to negate this bird’s calorie content.

Go bland. Plain, straightforward, unseasoned food such as barbequed chicken, plain rice and a naked baked potato are nutritious your palette will tire of these individuals quickly, unlike salty moreish ready-made food, which keeps you snacking and piling within the pounds.
