Why arent the whales war crew arrested?

Dont get me wrong, i get what they're trying to do, but they throw stuff at Japanese whaling ships and stuff. i mean the Japanese are legal right, but these whale lover people chase them around. shouldn't the Japanese be able to arrest them?

The Japanese are just victims of their cultural upbringing. We need to forgive them so we all can get on with our lives. They were born this way so if God made them to sink environmental wackos and their publicity stunt ships, who are we to Judge them?

In 1986 the International Whaling Commission (IWC) banned commercial whaling so that stocks might recover. Non-member countries are not bound by its regulations and conduct their own management programs. When the commercial whaling moratorium was introduced by the IWC in 1982, Japan lodged an official objection. However, in response to US threats to cut Japan's fishing quota in US territorial waters under the terms of the Packwood-Magnuson Amendment, Japan withdrew its objection in 1987. However, according to the BBC, America went back on this promise, effectively destroying the deal. The Whale Wars crew wears black and has a skull on a black flag for their symbol. They are obviously the bad guys and deserve what they get from the whaling ships. One of their members sneaked aboard a whaling ship and the Japanese government held him for months.

have you ever tried doing something like this? that's a lot from basic being in tough seas working in a chilly climate, even for experts. those individuals are quite often volunteers many with little nautical or harsh atmosphere experience. a specialist team would be much less probably to take hazards or be as captivated with what they're doing. To different posts: rather the jap are breaking the regulation as that's at present unlawful to have interaction in deadly whale study. This became enacted years in the past by potential of the IWC. regrettably there is not any international regulation enforcement business enterprise to enforce the guidelines so some small communities of activists are approximately it.

Actually the Japanese are breaking the law..they found a loop hole in the system as to where they put research on the boat..but when the whales are on the factory ship they are gutted, and packaged for shipment to stores..that's where they are breaking the law..NOT only that the whales they are hunting are ENDANGERED Whales they are not just hunting any kind, but the Endangered kind..

There for the crew of the Steve Irwin are not breaking any kind of laws what so ever..Japanese ship does the water cannons and the Irad at them..which is just as bad..

Source(s): name a law that the steve irwin breaks? there really isn't any

They are, from time to time, but not until they reach land.

The only reason the Japanese are "legal" is they are saying that the whaling boats are conducting "scientific research." I guess part of that research is seeing just how much restaurants will pay for whale meat.

They arent arrested because technically what the japanese are doing is illegal. The crew doesnt get arrested because they do not cause bodily harm to anyone on the japanese vessels they just disrupt the ships activity.

  • I personally thank these are radical evolutionist gone off the deep end. no one can call them environmentalist, they are out there polluting the air and water just like every one else. I don't watch their show anymore and even if the Japanese may be wrong what they are doing to the Japanese ships is even more wrong and endangering peoples lives.

I don't think these things usually happen in Japanese territorial waters. Also, there is a serious doubt that Japan's whaling is even legal.

You know I don,t know is this international waters,or is it in Japanese territory?,,and if so I,m thinking we will real soon hear something bad happened out there,,, I mean I,m all for preserving the whale population but this is how the japanese have fed their people for centuries.

those douchbags are pirates...they try to foul the propellers of the those ships...what happens when they succeed and a storm blows up...they should be torpedoed..that whole stupid show is nothing but camera shots of the crew turning their heads...these liberals are so incompetent i am surprised they haven't sunk themselves...just more libs willing to kill humans over animals...yes its what they do...
