So a question for all liberals and conservatives..?

We have now gone through a very bad decade of congresses and presidents. Both the democratic and republican parties are to blame equally. Worse yet instead of fixing things by taking responsiblity for thier actions and fixing it , both democrats and republicans are doing thier very best to make it as bad as possible. I ask is now the time for loyalty to these parties. you will work 20 years with higher taxes, for thier failure. Do you really want more? If you vote for the incumbents of either party in this election, and for that matter the next 4 coming elections you will get exactly that more of the same fail. and no i do not belive tea party people are the answer they wont even stand on thier own platform in an era where many want to vote for a third party.

Is it time for two new liberal and conservative parties to challenge these parties who actions have damaged americans for generations to come?

i do not believe it is so much a dem/rep problem...it is (a) dirt bags in both parties that need to be voted out and better yet....jailed for the crimes against the betterment of America! (ok just sarcasm here) (b) a 5 point platform for what you believe and stand for and then stand on it...both parties either you are for something or against it.....you can not straddle with one foot on one platform and the other foot on the other........(c) same as A....get the dirt bags/low life/thieves out of Washington (they are in BOTH parties)

Yes, good this simply demonstrates that the majority humans come to be being a contradiction in phrases. Can you name that a paradox? Only if the reverse is right most likely. As as to if liberal conservatism will also be embraced by means of the ones conservatives who're extra liberal than truthfully conservative, I consider, is anything that are meant to be debated liberally in a conservatory procedure.

I thought the last decade was pretty good...that was a Democrat. The President of the last decade created 6 times more jobs than Bush. What took 8 years to destroy will take more than 21 months to fix. The creation of a third party will just split the vote more.

We had a surplus at the beginning of the last decade...but tax cuts and two unfunded wars pushed this country into financial ruin....along with using taxpayer monies to send jobs overseas. The President of the last decade tried to fix the health care. He wanted the people of this country to have the same health care as Congress....yet Bob Dole stood on the steps of the Capitol and said the American people did not deserve it. That should have been a HUGE red flag telling people not to put his party in power...but they did!

The only thing Obama is guilty of is trying to work with the republicans...to elect any republican to any office is foolish. And if anyone thinks the Tea Party is better....just pay attention to the members...people like Dick Armey...a republican, Don Blankenship, the CEO of a coal company that murdered hundreds with his greed. And their minions are the ones who worked against changing health care.

The mess the republicans left was worse than the Great Depression....had we not had Social Security and Unemployment benefits -ALL programs of the Democrats....people would have starved. Maybe you are ready to cut and run from the Democrats...but sorry, I have watched the party of NO for decades work against the American people and for the corporations. Frankly, I do not understand why anyone would vote republican...they always campaign of fiscal responsibility yet grow the deficit...it is the Democrats who catch the heat for clean up the mess.

If people would just understand how congress works...and pay attention to the voting. It is the republicans who are stifling the growth in this country.

And if you think tax cuts for the wealthy create jobs...look back to history...Clinton raised taxes yet created more jobs in eight years than Reagan, Daddy Bush and Baby Bush COMBINED!

And yes...I WILL vote for my Senator who fought for the people of our state...Why punish everyone for the ineptness of the republicans...makes no sense at all absolutely NONE!

  • As an anti-Republican independent some of what you say rings true but part of it is off base. Yes the Republicans and Democrats are corrupt and not working correctly. But the Republicans are far worse than the Democrats. And as far as taxes go, after doing a little research I noticed that when the taxes on the rich are over 50% this country thrives and grows, yes I know that means the rest of us will also be paying 25-35% in combined taxes but when you figure what that buys, roads, bridges, fresh water for most Americans when in the rest of the world only about 1/3rd of the population has these things, I believe it is worth it. Here is a link to what the rich paid in taxes for the last 100 years, now think about when the most prosperous years were and match them to the taxes on the rich : http://www.truthandpolitics.org/top-rates.php

Long & rambling post, bear with me: Humans in the past have killed for food, territory, & mates. Just like the animals of our world. To stop the killings, we 'evolved' (so to speak) & came up with a more solid government. Unfortunately our own basic instincts buck at this. In order to keep our instincts in check, we have continued to add more & more rules. Some were awesome! Others were to spell our doom in later years.

We have wrapped ourselves in so many rules & regulations that 'parties' such as democrats & republicans have no meaning. Politics have no meaning. They are there to restrict us to the point of suffocation. Either insane change must be made or our world will tear itself apart.

Extreme? Yes. I don't care. Cause I have seen. It iz true. God help us...

What is your solution Oh wise one? You are talking about two parties but you sound like Obama speaking of Repulicans and we see how that is turning out? What is your vision? What is good policy? What would you plan? Don't wait to be lead but form something right.

No, it's time to modify the existing parties. Creating another party only splits the existing vote, as the Tea Partiers will find out when moderate Republicans refuse to vote for Tea Party supported candidates.

    So what are you suggesting?

Taxes had to be lowered and Spending increased to help the economy in the short run. Every economist in the world has agreed on that. It is what they will do from this point forward that matters. Will they be able to raise taxes and lower spending without damaging the economy, if so that means we are in good shape.
