How do you get rid of the "orange" color on dogs' feet... usually from them licking them.?

when we got our dog she had that orange colour around her eyes. We just bathed them gently with salt water and the colour started to fade out. Alternatively just give them a good scrub in the tub.

Also though, if your dog is licking its feet then you might want to check inbetween the pads for anything it may be trying to get out, or dog does this when she has mud stuck in them.

The discoloration is caused by the dog's saliva. Unless your dog stops licking its feet, it's hopeless. If they stop licking, the fur will grow in the normal color.

Dogs lick when something bugs them....could be allergies, could be arthritis, could be yeast infection, etc, etc. Unless you have the vet check it out, you won't know the cause. Once you know the cause, it's possible to stop the behavior. Some dogs do it out of anxiety and it becomes habitual. It is more prominent in some breeds than others. I don't have enough info about your dog to be able to say more.

I groom dogs for a living and I see this on an almost daily basis. Some dogs (after vet checks) have stopped the behavioe due to diet changes or medication. Some dogs (one I can think of in particular) do it habitually and if the owners don't distract them the instant they see it happening the problem never ceases.

To begin with you need to find the cause of the dog's licking and stop it.

Foot licking and chewing can easily become obsessive with some dogs, and can be caused by allergies, anxiety, and boredom.

Talk to your vet about this, and if health problems are ruled out, then you will have to look at alternative reasons why he is licking, and work on methods to reduce anxiety or boredom so that the habit is stopped.

Once the licking stops, the hair wont continue to be stained, and the colour will go with time, and bathing.

You can get special dog shampoos specidically for white coated dogs, and special shampoos to get rid of staining- but the problem needs to be addressed, otherwise the stains will not go away.
