Have you read this interesting article?

Its about outsourcing surrogate pregnancy.. very interesting the author apparently has researched a great deal.

My question is - if it would benefit your family - get you a home, food, clothing - could you do this, could you be a surrogate mother ?

I would go along and then run away with the unborn to another country where surrogacy is forbidden at the last minute. Just to teach the bastard so-called "parents" a lesson.

I would give you the same answer if you were asking me to be a prostitute in order to take care of my children. NO. I would come up with an alternative. I would never put my health at risk to carry a child for someone else, my children need me alive and healthy. Thank you.

It is not okay to sell your body to wealthy americans. This entire thing just disgusts me. On both ends.

Too bad for all those children in foster care, clearly they are not good enough for these "parents".

I could never, ever in a million years do this.

No. It's one thing to provide a home to a child who really needs one. It's a very different thing to create babies as consumer goods.

I would love to be a surrogate mother, not for financial reasons but for the rewards; at 16 I was hired on at a fast food restaurant. 3 weeks after being hired, I found out I was pregnant, and my boss was so happy for me. A few weeks after that, he found out his wife was pregnant after a year and a half of seeing fertility specialists and trying to conceive. We talked with the crew about baby names and baby everything...Then only weeks later, he was devastated, would sit in his office for hours only to come out with a puffy face. He was a wreck; his wife lost their baby in the middle of the night. While I worked there, he was always "joking" about becoming the baby's godfather and he wanted to talk to my stomach (even though I wasn't showing...) which became awkward. I ended up leaving because I felt that he expected me to give up my daughter since I was still in school, but I had to go to school day and night to graduate anyway.

Once when my daughter was 5 months, we were playing and she was uncontrollably giggling. I felt the overwhelming sense that I wished I could give them what I experience every single day. It would be so special for me to cook their little bun, and once I met him/her, I would love them so much and be so happy to give them the gift of parenting, life, a child...I would never feel as if it was mine to begin with. I still would love to do this, but I have 3 more months until I turn 18. I love pregnancy, I love being a mom, I love it, and wish that someone who wants it so much could have what I have.

As far as what they are doing in India, that is wrong.

I could never. I'm not an incubator and will not do it for money.
