No one has noticed but I think people just think Ive ate to many pies ... Please tell me this is normal and I'm not just getting huge!!! I wasn't fat or thin before I got pregnant but i just need some reassurance.

It's very normal to begin showing at 16 weeks. Some women can actually start showing as early as around 12 weeks. It's more common to show that early when it is your 2nd + child.
With my first I thought something was wrong because I was about 26 weeks before I started showing. I thought my baby wasn't growing fast enough, but once I got to the 30+ week range I started growing like crazy! Now I am 17 weeks with my 2nd and noticed on the 16th week my tummy starting to pop out a little and has also started becoming firm more toward the top.
You are right on track, and from here on prepare to wear stretchy clothes, lol. I actually kind of liked the stretchy clothes stage, it was always so comfy! Kind of like wearing pajamas all day. Your tummy probably won't take that big growth spike for a few more weeks yet, but you will notice yourself slowly getting a little bit bigger and bigger. You are right around the week-age where everything becomes more fun too! In a few short weeks you'll start feeling your baby kick and move and do somersaults, you will get an accurate gender scan in the upcoming weeks and find out what you're having (unless of course you want it to be a surprise!), and then shortly after that you will physically be able to see your little one kicking through your tummy. And then by time your a few weeks from giving birth your going to feel like he or she is trying to kick their way right out of your belly, haha.
But yes, very normal to begin showing at that stage.
Good luck and congrats :)

Sounds just about perfect to me. With my first I was definitely thicker around the waist around that time and had a slight bump (yup... that horrible time when you just feel fat!). I had trouble doing up the waistband of all my fitted pants. I wasn't showing too much even at 20 weeks, but soon after I grew and grew really quickly. It seemed I left all my growing until later.
I am now pregnant with my second and am beginning to show my baby bump fairly clearly now at 14 weeks. It has been several weeks earlier. A few people at work are starting to wonder and ask questions and I have had to tell them.
I think you sound right on track and should be feeling very pleased about that. Perfect timing!

Perfectly timed. You're right on schedule. This is when you start outgrowing your clothes! There will be a period of a few weeks where you may just appear thicker around the middle and not really look pregnant but it will be here before you know it! There is a period of rapid growth with your baby and things will start moving along soon enough.

Completely normal! It will probably seem to you as though your waist line is getting bigger, not so much as in 'showing' or an actual noticeable bump. Your body is accomodating and making room for baby to grow! Things inside are moving around too! Did your doc weigh you at your first appointment? If they feel you are putting on too much weight, they will talk to you about it. Otherwise, they probably won't mention it at all if everything appears fine to them! I'm sure you look gorgeous! Enjoy it!

Perfectly normal. I am normal body weight and couldn't do up my jeans easily at 16 weeks but the average person on the street wouldn't have really noticed much.
Rejoice in your changing shape and look forward to buying some lovely maternity clothes - best of luck to you!
