Why have our cats started fighting with one another?
We have three neutered cats that share a room.Outside their room a female cat was spotted today. At night when the cats went back to their room and we locked them up for the night ,they started fighting with one another. As soon as we took them out of the room and brought them back into the house, they were fine. And behaved normally .Could the female cat have sprayed in their room because the door of the room was open?

That is a possibility. You should get a "black light", turn off the lights in the room, and shine the black light all over. Any pee or spray will GLOW in the black light. Then, you'll know where to clean with an enzyme cleaner.
Also, you may want to put a Feliway infuser in that room, to help calm them back down.
Hope this helps, and they "get over it" soon..........Good luck.

Sometimes cats fight because its a form of exercise. All of my cats play with one another every single day and they appear as though they're fighting.
The male cats even though they're neutered still have their instincts to fight over females I suspect, but even then, that does seem peculiar.
