1 AnswerEconomics9 years agoEnlarged tonsils - please help!?
A month ago, I had a big, swollen lymph node in the side of my neck. My throat was sore and I couldn't move my neck. I started taking antibiotics and after 5 days, my sore throat became better and the lymph node shrank and stopped hurting, but I could still feel it.
3 weeks after this, I discovered 4 more swollen lymph nodes and my throat was sore. The lymph nodes were painful.
So I went to the doctor. He said my tonsils were enlarged and put me on new antibiotics. He asked me to take a blood test as well, which came clear.
The new antibiotics worked for some time as I finished the course.
But my throat is sore again and I feel my tonsils enlarged inside.
I often have a sore throat and talk in a voice like a creaking door. I often sleep with my mouth open. Whenever I sing in the kitchen sometimes, my throat gets sore again. I run out of energy quickly and it's not because I'm anaemic, as the blood test revealed.
I'm an adult, who often has tonsillar enlargement, can't talk in a normal voice ( my friends often tell me I sound like I'm in pain) and who has a sore throat often.
Should I learn to just live with it?

3 AnswersCats1 decade agoHow do pet cats behave in such situations?
I have three male, neutered pet cats.
We leave them outside to play and roam around the neighborhood. They never wander far. Recently, we moved, not far from one house to another house,on the same road.
During the shifting, they were at the vets'. When they came to our new house, the cats went back to the old house.
We had to bring them back. Now we have to keep them indoors 24 hours a day, so that they don't get lost.
Will they ever get used to the new surroundings and will they ever be able to play outside again, without getting lost?
Please help!
My sister sometimes takes them outside to make them familiar with the new surroundings.
They need their exercise though and we don't know what to do.
How do cats behave in such circumstances and what can be done about it?
