Tipping the grocery clerk?

Do you tip the grocery clerk if they help you out to the car with your bags? and if so, typically how much?

    No. Stores such as Safeway, Albertsons, Luckys etc do not allow us to accept tips. It is a courtesy to the customers to carry out their groceries. Only commissaries on military bases you tip.

    Be careful, some stores will fire the person for accepting tips. If you do tip, $1 or $2 is fine.

    Most stores they do not accept tips.

    Yes i do only when i feel they are sincere. i would say 2 dollars is fine.
