I want to lose weight but..?

When i eat per se 1,000 calories and then go to the gym to burn calories.. how will I know how much calories I have burned?

    first #1 rule is make sure you eat more then 1200 calories a day!!! if you don't your body goes into fat starvation mode and instead of losing weight you gain weight making it hard to lose anything.

    Okay so to lose one pound you need to get rid of 3500 pounds.

    You shouldn't lose more then 1 or 2 pounds a week

    One way is to cut calories from your diet.. lowest being 1200 a day

    Also you burn calories each day .. use this to find out how much you burn - http://caloriecount.about.com/cc/calories-burned.p... << for last choice just click the first one so we can calculate other things into it.

    For sports and things use this - http://www.fitwatch.com/database/searchexdb.html

    as far as the gym goes most cardio machines tell you calories burnt.. there is normally a button to click

    My advice is cardio, cardio, cardio.... it burns the most and it gets you in good shape..
