Eating 6 meals a day is fine if you like to eat frequently and it fits your schedule, but it won't give you better results than eating 2-3 times a day if the total calories and macronutrients are the same. Meal frequency doesn't speed up your metabolism. http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=119... here is a link to a forum post which thoroughly disproves the meal frequency myth! I did eat 6 meals per day in the past when I believed in this myth, all it did was make my life more difficult!

Yes it works but it's not just 6 meals it's 6 small meals, so not 6 normal meals haha, would sort of defeat the whole object of it. It keeps your metabolism going and I find it keeps you fuller as you're eating more often but in small bursts that fill you up

i have done 5 meals a day and that's too many for me. it worked but since i eat little calorie meals i stayed hungry all the time for 5 months. i would rather be overweight than do it again.

now when i want to lose weight i eat two small snacks and one big 1000 calorie meal.

Nope. 4 meals would be the max. Except if you meant 6 small meals

It can be, it really depends on how much you eat during the 6 meals.

YES but they need to be small between 200-300 calories

Yes, it works, but it has to be small meals. It speeds up your metabolism, which makes you burn fat faster. You still have to work out, though.
