teen romance book recommendations?
i usually prefer the teenage love books as i can relate to them more, also maybe something set in like the 40s or 50s or whatever i don't even care actually, just something romantic, books i've really enjoyed include
- the hunger games
- the outsiders (not exactly romance but it's amazing, so recommendations similar to this too)
- naughts and crosses
- the last song
PS DON'T SAY TWILIGHT -_-
possibly a short idea of what the book is about too?

There is another by same author as The Outsiders - Rumblefish - I didn't love it as much but was good too.
Then Again Maybe I Won't by Judy Blume - not a romance either but really good

If you liked "The Last Song", you would probably like all of Nicholas Sparks books. I haven't read any of them, but I have heard that "The notebook" is pretty good and they both focus on a summer romance.
Another GREEEEEEAT teenage romance book is "Before I fall" by Lauren Oliver. I JUST LOVED IT. No other words to describe my feelings about it. It's about a girl, a girl with a seemingly perfect life, who dies in a car crush. However she is given a chance to live her last day again and again...
Who might also like Delirium by Lauren Oliver. I loved this one too. It's about a dystopian world where love is considered an illness and all people have a procedure that prevents them from falling in love at eighteen.
I liked both of Lauren Oliver's books, but Before I Fall is the one that made me cry hysterically, so I really think you would enjoy it

Any books by Sarah Ockler shes a great teen romance writer i love her books. Also if you dont mind something with fantasy i would check out the Need series by Carrie Jones (its about pixies and stuff like that) or Beautiful Creatures series by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl (that has romance and mystery and fantasy). But probably since you like the Hunger Games you might like the book Here (On the Otherside) by Denise Grover Swank. Its based around our time except it has good romance and sci fi. Its a great book.

TWILIGHT!! aha haa... jk...
When I was in highschool, These are a few of my favs...
VAMPIRE DIARIES (I know it's a show but it was a good book first, About a girl who meets a vampire and falls in love with him. There is alot of action and romance that leads to her falling in love with his brother. Eventually she has to choose which one she wants to be with, and after she does, there is an epic fight between the two. It's a multiple book series.)
PERFECT CHEMISTRY ( Brittany is a "perfect" popular white girl whose got everything going for her and "Alex" is a latino tattooed gang member. They are forced to be lab partners and hate it until they fall for each other. But alex is forced to choose between his gang, and her. Very epic and unique love story that made me cry!)
LEAVING PARADISE ( About a young girl who was hit by a car in a drunk driving accident. She is permanantly crippled and went from being miss popular to the one everyone teased. She didn't have any friends and after time, found a friend in someone she never would have guessed. The boy who hit her and went to prison. The ending has a mad crazy twist and I was truely shocked.)
A WALK TO REMEMBER (yes it's a movie but that book was better. I cried during the book, not the movie!)
OUTCRY IN THE BARRIO (It's an older book but I loved it. If you are religious, this one will make you cry. It has intimate details of sex, drugs, lies. There is a moment when the main charecter put his child down on a cold public bathroom floor to shoot up heroine. It sounds bad, but he finds his way to the lord and everything started to fall into place as he became a man of god.) << If your not religious, you won't like it, just saying :)
Hope you like these!!
