What is wrong with my dad's foot?
My dad has kind of a tiny red hole in his foot, and from it, there is kind of splotchy red lines going to the back of his ankle. We've made a doctors appointment, but that won't be until Monday, so I'm wondering if this seems bad enough to take him to the hospital right away instead.
I also put peroxide on it and put a bandage on top just to be safe for now.
Not like a bug bite, no. It looks more like he scrapped it or something while working. It's too big of a hole to be a bug bite. But it's not an open wound or anything, either.

Sounds like some kind of puncture wound, with infection tracking into his system, may be better to get treated sooner rather than later, may need anti-biotics, infections with tracking can (worst case scenario)lead to blood poisoning. Please do get him seen soon.

A hole like a bug bite or spider bite? Go to the er or urgent care center...could be infection starting.
