careers like nursing?
I had been thinking about going to college and taking pre-nursing, but i'm not necessarily sure if I want to become a nurse yet. What other areas could I go into like nursing? I like helping people.

That's fantastic! Good for you! Nursing is such a fantastic career and really meaningful. How old are you? You might be able to become registered nurse's aid now and get a feel for what it's like. Now, a nurse's aid is different than a nurse's (the NA job is much more difficult) but you'll still get the general idea. There are also, of course, plenty of other professions in the medical field. Pharmacy, physicians, podiatry, psychology, councelling, dietetics, therapy and rehabilitation, veterinarian, etc.
