What is a good recipe for a frosting or poke recipe for pound cake I made but forgot the vanilla?

I've looked on the net to find a fix for this cake I've already baked, 10 minutes into baking I realized I'd forgotten the vanilla. (A tablespoon's worth). Fixable or not? It's almost done.

Update:

Yes I know vanilla's purpose. Thank you so much. :)

Vanilla is mainly for flavoring. Many times I have omitted vanilla, either out of neglect or I didn't have it on hand. It should not make much of a difference in the final outcome of the cake.
