Would bones in a tuna can be bad?
I have been eating tuna from a can for 2 weeks here and there and never had a problem. Well, today I had tuna and made a sandwich, I was eating and felt something hard, took it out it was a small bone looked broken but none the less it was a bone! I have never had that problem and now I do. It was tuna from sunkist or something like that. I was checking to see if there was bones before I eat it and while I was eating it but didn't notice it. I wouldn't know if the whole tuna had bones it always looks like it does but I think its just from the tuna. I feel lightheaded but I can swallow of course I'm freaking out thinking I'm gonna die or get a cut in my stomach especially when I have a hital hernia already at the age of 24!
I hope I didnt eat smaller bones but is it bad to eat bones from a tuna can?
Is it okay to eat smaller soft bones from a tuna can?
Like I had said I'm not sure if I ate any other bones I really couldn't tell I just keep freaking myself out thinking I did making myself feel all lightheaded. But any information would be great especially if you've had the same situation. Thanks.

It's NOT going to harm you. You've just had a bit of extra calcium. Soft fish bones are perfectly fine to eat. In fact, very good for you. They're often in tinned salmon and almost always in kippers. STOP freaking yourself out. They are too soft to 'scratch your tummy. A lot of tinned tuna has some bones. Most often bits of the backbone, but any, really. The cooking process makes them super-soft. Now, if you were eating fresh tuna and swallowed a bone you might have a reason to worry. But, only if it stuck in your throat.

No need to freakout or worry. Seriously, these bones are edible. If you don't like them then simply pick them out. In countries like Vietnam where the populace is mostly lactose intolerant and drinking milk is not a good option, eating these types of pressure cooked bones helps to suppliment their diet with much needed calcium. You'll be fine. I promise.

Not ready a big deal I don't think there was anything wrong with the Tuna. Just glad you didn't chip a tooth.
