    however long you want it to be to put it to use. in interpersonal relations class, we had to cut off a piece of string from a ball of yarn. I wanted the longest piece, but it wasn't long enough because i wanted to talk endlessly. you roll the string around your finger until it runs out, and during the process you have to talk to everyone. I was the only one who thought the opposite of everyone. Everyone else wanted to talk less and didn't know what to say and rolled the string around their entire hand. the shortest strings just said "hi." and they're done. I said "I love you" and named names.

    Okay, It can only be long enough to fill up 2.7E+31 cubic light years worth of space or short enough in which atoms can make string.

    Most pieces go from one end to the other. There are exceptions.

    A string is made of twisted short yarn or fiber,so it is not long really.
