Pagan things and JW's?
It puzzles me that numerous JW's hold once pagan things as still pagan when in fact are consecrated to God and therefore no longer Pagan. There view point does puzzle me because before they were/are baptized they were themselves not consecrated to God. So, if things which were once pagan remain pagan irrespective of being restored to a godly function what can be said of people who were once pagan?

A thing can not choose, humans can...
A gun can not choose to be a spoon... but a murderer can choose to stop murdering and do good to others.
That is what set us apart from animals and inanimate objects. We make conscientious choices. We pay the concecuences of our actions and understand why (whether some care to ignora that fact or not is irrevelant).
Now you need to elaborate a little more to what you mean about "when in fact are consecrated to God and therefore no longer Pagan". What things??
Regarding people:
(2 Peter 3:9) 9 Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with YOU because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance.
Yet all have a choice to make, either turn around and do the right thing or ignore Jehovah's warning. For those who ignore his warnings:
(2 Peter 2:9, 10) 9 Jehovah knows how to deliver people of godly devotion out of trial, but to reserve unrighteous people for the day of judgment to be cut off, 10 especially, however, those who go on after flesh with the desire to defile [it] and who look down on lordship.. . .
So really Jehovah is asking us to turn from our wayward course and do the right thing. So someone who did pagan things (someone who "was/is pagan" is an incorrect usage of the term, its what they do that is considered "pagan") and changed, could find favor and forgivenes before Jehovah. He would want everyone to change and repent, but the fact is that many will choose not to and will receive according to their choice.

gorgeous attempt. The WBTS has reported the two Babylon, and Egypt, without bearing on Pagan activities. severe-high quality attempt although. "The JW themselves don't understand plenty concerning to the Bible or the Watchtower. they only Parrot what they're informed." I do discover it form of you to tutor your greater true nature and reason. Baptism became something even Jesus, the Exemplar for ALL Christians, partook in. i detect it suspect that somebody claiming to be a Born returned Christian, could recommend that Baptism is indirectly incorrect, or portion of Pagan worship?

I'm sorry, where in the bible does it say the cross is consecrated ? Christmas? Halloween? Easter? Birthdays?
As to individuals we have many scriptures that invite 'non christians' to become Christians.
Christians are commanded to put away all filfh and all badness. To stop touching idols.
When Aaron introduced the calf at Horeb, the mountain of God, they called it a festival to Jehovah. Jehovah rejected that worship.
Taking poison and placing it in a soda bottle doesn't make it soda, and harmless.

tHE BIBLE SAYS THAT SALVATION COMES FROM TEH jEWS.
In closer examination we realize that the JW want to be head of the church and out vote or control the Lord like Moslem and other faiths even the secular world.
These are errors groups like the JW and many faiths err with.
The religious spirit is not the same as the holy spirit imparted upon the church.
Freedom in Jesus Christ helps us relax and breath easier.
Religious spirits are not all of God and at the leading of the holy spirit.
" Professing themselves to be wise, they became as fools"
The Lord never errs in his witness as the holy spirit leads us.
Religious spirits will compete to quench and grieve the holy spirit as the enemy seeks those in his grasp to obey him.
Recalling Siman Peter anmd his zeal for Israel likened to Paul of Tarsus who was a devout unsaved Pharisee similar to a JW unsaved member .
May the Lord Jesus Christ reach those who0se witness is in the flesh to find the Lord Jesus Christ.
PAUL LEFT the Watchtower of his time to become servant of the Lord Jesus Christ , An honor that is beyond human recognition.

When a liar stops lying, a thief stops stealing, a slanderer stops slandering, and a murderer stops murdering . . . they are no longer a liar / thief / slanderer / murderer.
However, when a pagan practice has continued under the pretext of it being Christian, the only thing that changed was the belief about ti, while the practice has remained the same.
If a person takes something thinking that they were given permission by the owner, when they were actually given 'permission' by the one who stole it, they become guilty --albeit unwittingly-- of thievery, too. . . . Likewise those who practice pagan practices under the false impression that they are Christian . . . what they are practicing remains pagan, no matter what Bible-based names & stories they may paste on it.
Christians who have previously practiced unscriptural activities are required to completely STOP practicing them, including those things that are pagan. Nowhere in God's Word does it 'consecrate' pagan beliefs or practices!

This would hold true also to the ??? you have asked.
Read this scripture, Paul said that is what some of you were, showing that they had changed their lifestyle.
1 Cor. 6:9-11: “Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men will inherit God’s kingdom. And yet that is what some of you were. But you have been washed clean, but you have been sanctified, but you have been declared righteous in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God.”
(Regardless of such a background, if persons now abandon their former unclean practices, apply Jehovah’s righteous standards, and exercise faith in his provision for forgiveness of sins through Christ, they can enjoy a clean standing before God.)

I think easy do is talking about the roman catholic church, who actually believe that the key to heaven is a real key like a car key, instead of asking if Christ kingdom is not of this world, then what is the key to heaven, was it not revealed to Peter through the Holy spirit, the key is That Jesus is the Christ the Son of the Living God and the gates of hell cannot prevail against this faith, as Christ defends and delivers us from evil.

I'm not sure what you're asking or even if you know what you're asking? I will try to answer you from the point of veiw of a Pagan (myself.) ....... After Christianity began & began to sweep the ancient world, one of the biggest problems facing the church & Christian Kings was how to convert people from "the old ways". The church tried terrorism & butchering people but found that it really was ineffective. (This is History you can look up yourself!) .. Christianity did not have festivals of it's own. When Jesus was still alive, those festivals/celebrations used were taken straight from Judaism! Centuries later, the Christian church began to build churches on old Pagan Holy Sites! They "stole" Pagan festivals / celebrations to make into their own "Christian" festivals! ... It was the only way to entice Pagan's, followers of The Old Ways, into their doors .. ALL of those Pagan Sites had already been "Consecrated to God". As Christianity grew, it became more a religion of apathy than anything else. Christians do not even know the name of their God, they cannot speak to or work with Him, unless they are one of a few select people. .. When the Christian church found that they could not convert people, massacre was the only other option they could see, but they needed it to be "The Word of God", so they could claim this as some sort of 'Holy duty'. ... But their God had commanded them, "Thou Shalt Not Kill." ... How could they get around that? .. Simple, just re-wrie the Bible with a New translation of it, & get it done "by Royal decree." .......... One Line in the Bible was used to execute Millions of people over 3 centuries! You know it, we all do. .. "Tho Shalt Not Suffer a Witch To Live." ... ( how convenient for the church that that line was put in their Bible, or was it?) ... Originally,, that one line read "Thou Shalt Not Suffer a Poisoner To Live." (but the church changed it to suit themselves, by royal decree. .. "Poisoner / Witch",, Big Difference.) ... You asked about Jehovah's Witnesses. ... They hold things that once were Pagan as still being Pagan, because they are "more honest" about their religion.
