Okay so I have been best friends with this guy for about a year and I've liked him ever since I met him we are really close friends and I love him and I honestly don't know what I'd do without him. We hangout ALL the time like sometimes 4-5 days a week and we go shopping,out to eat,to the movies but I always find myself getting jealous and I hate it. Cuz almost all of his friends are girls and he calls them gorgeous or he'll be really flirty with them or like he has one other best friend who's also a girl and he tells her everything and I always feel like he puts her first and it seems like he'd rather be friends with her over me and then we have this other friend who I know he kinda likes cuz he told me he sort of likes her . but yet he flirts with me(and I flirt with him) like
Complimenting me
Hugging me
Playing with my hair
Always putting his habd on my lap
And just all these flirty things that always made me think he liked me but yet he treats other girls like that too and I just feel so stupid for actually thinking he liked me I just don't know what to do I'm just crying my eyes out I'm so confused did he ever even like me at all!!! I just don't know what to do and I just sound crazy for even asking this question...

Tell him how you feel. You can't say he's being mean or disrespecting you because he's not dating you. You need to tell him how you feel because what your doing now isn't working it's only hurting you more. could you answer my question.

Sounds like a player. If u didnt already have feelings for him id reccomend keeping him firmly in the friendzone. Players can be fun friends but think about it for a second. Lets say he does like u right? And u guys start going out. Do u think hed stop flirting with other girls? Ud probably be constantly jealous and the relationship would end badly with alot of hurt feelings. Then ud lose ur best friend and the boy u love. I know its not what u want to hear (i wouldnt want to either) but u should try to find some other guy ur interested in unless ur willing to jeaprodize ur friendship. Im sorry, good luck hun!

The only thing you can do at this point is tell him how you are feeling. I know that it's going to be hard, and you will be afraid of rejection. But maybe you can ask something simple like "Could you ever see us dating?" Something subtle and not too over the edge. You are just going to torture yourself until you find out if he does have feelings for you. Just ask him.

He's just being a "player" so to speak. Likes that he gives all the attention to every girl one at a time to make them feel special. But talk to him and let him know you like him and see if there is a difference in how he treats you.
