What is your favorite food to prepare that starts with the letter D?

My favorite D food to prepare, as in cook, is dal

I make mine with dried red lentils, chopped sauteed brown onion, grated carrot, water and a mix of spices (usually curry powder, salt, pepper and some ground paprika).

Tasty and filling :)

Since I can't cook, I like to eat. As a cheater vegetarian what came to mind first was dessert.
