It rained on our Fourth of July and we couldn't cook out!!!?

It's raining here in Northwest FL. We made our food inside and sat at the table to eat. Then we all (including the dog) got in the SUV and went for a leisurely drive. Why? Because we AmeriCAN. lol

do you have a car port? cook under the car port or a canopy!

I do not grill on holidays! too many people think holidays should be spent at the ranch! So they arrive! I always have a slow cooked roast, potato salad, coleslaw, tossed garden salad, pies and cakes ready for any and all who come!

Only when it rains do we get to do fireworks!! The desert southwest is no place to set off fireworks until the rains start. May have to wait a bit til it quits, but some 5 years now we haven't even bothered to buy any fireworks! They are more spectacular in the snow anyway! Our friends in Tucumcari NM set off their fireworks in 4 feet of HAIL today! They grilled in the ice!! Cool off New Mexico style!!

It rained buckets this afternoon but stopped before we cooked out. This is the 1st time in over 5 years that we used the grill.

We stayed home and our grandson came over with his family. Our son drove his family over from near Chicago.

We live in Northern New York State and there has been minor flooding.

Canadian-- I don't celebrate 4th of July

But Canada day wasnt really pretty for us. It was cold and looked like it would rain all day.

I was stuck baby sitting my aunt and uncles 1 year old child while they let him roam free and get in people's ways. I also had to babysit their stroller. I'm a thirteen year old and I was stuck alone on one side of the street (some sweaters fell out of the strollers while on was on the frikin road so I had to go back) with an EMPTY baby stroller whilst my uncle jaywalked across the street. Nobody came to me so I had to find the nearest cross walk (not very close)

The only joy I actually got out of the day was watching a stunt man do his act. And I had to leave before it was over.

Just use the oven grill element and cook in the kitchen
