What is important to know about fostering a cat?
I would consider fostering a cat, but want to know some tips and advise. I mostly worry about fostering a cat who never gets placed. Then I would feel obligated to keep the cat.

Yes, that is a good consideration. If you can't find yourself with a place to keep the cat if it does not get fostered, then perhaps not good to foster. The idea is that fostering avoids the kill shelters.
