The ''War On Christmas'' etymology?

Should the ''War On Christmas'' be renamed the Hollycaust?

It's catchier.

Update:

Oh crap,no offence meant. I didn't intend to make light of the genocide of an entire people. The joke was supposed to be about the so called war on Christmas, apologies.

In hindsight,I may delete this question.

Update 2:

...although in my defence, for hundreds of years the word "holocaust" was used in English to denote great massacres.

No, it shouldn't - as a person who lost family in the Holocaust, I find this to be offensive. But I also know that you don't care about that and I find that very sad.

You have never, to my knowledge, supported genocide. Your stance against religion is actually quite contrary to it. As such, anyone who has followed you at all must be aware that you were in no way supporting what that little, Christian raised, horribly groomed, Austrian man tried to do last century.

That said, not the best choice of words. Keep educating those around you who will listen to reason but when we word it like that people stop listening.

True. The atheists and other religions attempting to ban Christmas and abolish Christmas practices is a form of religious discrimination.

    "Hollycaust!" Cute!

Frankly, I just ignore the nay-sayers regarding Christmas, -- either secular or religious -- and do what I want to do at this time of year.
