How to fund Student Flight Licenses?

I would like to earn a student pilot license from now to summer, but from my understanding even a student license is expensive like in the thousand dollar range with all the classes and flight time. My family can't afford so much (some said $7000) and I would like to take this step towards a career in Naval Aviation when I am still a high school student. I meet all requirements and have a genuine interest in flying. Please help ^^

It will definitely be more than a mere thousand dollars, but if you are going for the Navy anyway, let them pay for most of it after you join and just take a few lessons to get yourself familiarized (and make sure you like it)! Sometimes at airshows you can get a special deal for an initial lesson at a local fbo, so you might try that. I would say no matter what, go for it and see how it goes!
