What did you do this morning to make something special for breakfast?

It's been cold here, so I've been in a baking/cooking mood. Yesterday it was chicken soup and whole grain bread

So, this morning I made pumpkin muffins. On the top I put pumpkin seeds (pepitas) and drizzled a little honey on them. It caramalizes the seeds so they are sweet and crunchy.

Then we had sausages and coffee.

Did you make something special?

I made home made corn tortillas, and used yesterdays left over home made black beans with home made ranchero sauce and poached eggs. Turned it all into more or less huevos Motulenos.

started with oatmeal, with allspice and nutmeg, vanilla coconut milk and local honey and a cup of Highlander Grog Coffee.

Then later I had Egg whites baked in an Avocado sprinkled with Cajan spices and feta cheese.

stuffed Texas French toast with egg, bacon and sausage!

blend half cup sour cream, half cup softened cream cheese and 2 cups powder sugar. toast bread so you can slip knife in between layers and spoon in stuffing. put in french toast batter and fry as for french toast. top with fruit salad and puff of whipped cream. add to side egg and meats.

Today I made cinnamon banana pancakes topped with homemade peanut butter and some dark chocolate chips. :) It was so delicious!
