List Of Supernatural Creatures?

I am writing a book about witches, however, I would like to include other humanoid supernatural/mythical creatures as well. The problem is that I want to avoid the steriotypes/cliché (werewolves, vampires, ghosts, fairies ect.). Basically, I am looking for unique humanoid creatures that could be included in a book about witches.

P.S: I am not religious and I will not include any religious aspects into my novel. The witches in my book are not servants or the devil and I do not want to include Angels or Demons in my book.

Thank you :)

A creature is not cliche--what determines its staleness is how it's crafted. If you write a heartthrob, misunderstood, sexy vampire--that'd be overused. You can toy with the monster to make it different and unique.

    But other humanoid creatures:

    Mermaids

    Cecaelias (part octopus/part human--like Ursula)

    Yetis

    Centaurs/minotaurs

    Harpies (1/2 bird, 1/2 woman)

Witches aren't supernatural OR humanoid, they're humans.

Check cultural stories of Native Americans and east Asia for the lesser known mythical beings.

    Bigfoot

    Wizard

    Siren

    Mermaid

Track down an old copy of "Advanced Dungeons And Dragons' Monster Manual" or "The Fiend Folio" also from the Dungeons And Dragons game books. They will give wide choice of monsters to consider.
